Our farm is growing up, this time a wooden bathroom popped out right from the ground!
Comfortable, practical, eco and beautiful – are our main principals, when we create something new.
We have decided, that this project will be done entirely from our own timber, apart from the metal roof. We had fun shaping it into natural curves and fitting the whole structure into the landscape. We left one of the walls open, and build just right next to the terrace wall. It will have moisture and shade also during the summer, so the wall can stay green and make us happy watching it while taking a shower!
We heat the water by the insulated water heater stove. It works just like rocket heater and keeps warm water about 24 hours. Very comfortable and ecological, considering that we always have plenty of wood from our pine forest.
The windows are all recycled. I like how we fit those slightly banded windows, that originally came from the car doors.
With that wooden bathroom we are always excited with every new shower! Can’t wait to plant new banana plant by spring, for the water filtration, and beauty, of course.
If you are curious about other timber structures we did, take a look at the wooden cabin.
